

Step 1: R & D/Engineering/Model-making Highly qualified staff equipped with stateof-the-art technical means, 6 workstations with Unigraphix as well as Solid Edge ensure product development in close cooperation with the customer/the market. An in-house modelmaking department ensures ongoing product development; furthermore, Wollschlaeger can count on reliable prototyping service providers.
Step 2: Mouldmaking This department masters all cutting procedures, such as turning, high-speed milling, drilling, eroding, grinding (flat and round) etc. Approximately 700 active tools are managed today. Add to this around 80 to 100 new moulds and conversion kits per year. CAD/CAM connectivity is also ensured.
Step 3: Production 24/7 More than 60 highly utilised machines are in operation 24 hours and 7 days a week. They constitute the core element of the supply chain of Wollschlaeger: sophisticated manufacturing processes. Short machine setup times ensure short downtimes and thus optimum lot sizes for a) order-specific warehouse inventories and/or b) fast deliveries. The machines and staff of the department turn more than 5,000 tons of raw material into either finished products or into products to be assembled.
Step 4: Assembly, serigraphy and packaging Wollschlaeger also performs all supplementary work for articles, such as assembly, silkscreen printing, pad printing, embossing, riveting, warehouse or POS packaging. Please ask for our special services.
Step 5: Logistics 10000 Logistics services round off the supply chain: Wollschlaeger has over 10,000 pallet bays. Each year, far more than 50,000 mixed cargo and over 10,000 parcel shipments as well as hundreds of partial and full truck loads leave our Rotlay Mühle facility.
